Trinity Collegiate received endowment for $250,000
Trinity Collegiate School recently received a $250,000 donation from the Catherine J. McGinnis Family Foundation. The donation will be used to establish the McGinnis endowment fund. The money will supplement the school’s tuition assistance program. “A total of 25 percent of Trinity families receive tuition assistance and it is a vital component to the schools mission and commitment to inclusivity and diversity of our student body,” said Director of Admissions April Munn. “The school is both honored and excited about this gift,” said Head of School Ed Hoffman. “This bequest allows us to continue our upward trajectory as the premier academic institution of the Pee Dee Region.” “Dan and Arleen McGinnis have been tremendous supporters of Ed Hoffman, the academic program, and mission of Trinity Collegiate School,” said Mrs. Erin Meitzler, director of the Catherine J. McGinnis Family Foundation.
