Diaper need is the struggle to provide babies with an essential need - diapers. Some mothers are faced with having to clean out and reuse soiled diapers or having to choose between diapers and other basic needs like food. One in three American moms have had to face this choice. Mom4Moms, a non-profit organization meeting baby needs of lower income families, has partnered with Family Dollar, DC First Steps, CareSouth and United Way of Hartsville to give away packs of diapers on Saturday, April 9th from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at CareSouth (beside Zaxby’s). There will also be other vendors and services offering resources and information for parents as well. Parents need to bring their ID and proof of guardianship to receive the diapers.
