Manager certification course offered
The Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Coker University to offer a “Excelling as a New Manager” Professional Certificate program. The training will be held in the Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce Duke Energy Community Meeting Room on Feb. 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with lunch included.
The cost of the program is $525 for chamber members and $600 for nonmembers. The training will cover the following: •
Connecting with the overarching purpose;
• Intentionally communicating up, down, and across; •
Planning, prioritizing, and executing as a manager;
• Driving consistent results through others;
• Building trust and healthy relationships in the team.
The training will be facilitated by Coker University professors Dr. Dennis Burke and Dr. Andy Burkemper.
Upon completion, each participant will receive a Professional & Continuing Studies Certificate.
