Gospel in the Park Series 2022
The art of great gospel music returns to Pride Park, 630 S. 6th Street for its 15th series on Sunday, June 12, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. The theme is Bringing Unity into Our Community! Devotional service will be rendered by Pastor Christopher Morgan and Christ Cathedral Ministries, Hartsville. Live entertainment by gospel recording artists Bryan Andrew Wilson from Atlanta, Ga.; Demetrius West, Destiny Women from Florence; Minister Roland Johnson and Company from Sumter; Renew of the Carolinas from Lancaster. Deer Creek Ranch and Horse Rescue, 3047 Patrick Hwy., Hartsville is a horse rescue ranch with a mission of rehabilitating and restoring abandoned horses to good homes. Good News Club
Good News Club is an after-school Bible club held after school for about one hour one day a week filled with songs, games, snacks, and a Bible story at various elementary schools in the area: Carolina Elementary, North Hartsville Elementary, Thornwell School for the Arts and West Hartsville Elementary. Parents who are interested in enrolling their children in this club should contact their school for more information. Participation is voluntary and free.
