First Presbyterian supports artisans

Shop for gifts of quality improving quality of life! On November 14 (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.) at Hartsville Downtown Marketplace and November 15 (12:15 p.m. to 5 p.m.) at First Presbyterian Church in the fellowship hall, discover an exquisite collection of handmade gifts, home decor, musical instruments, jewelry and personal accessories.

Ten Thousand Villages helps skilled artisans in 38 countries receive a fair price for their products. Featured items include hand loomed textiles, pottery, jewelry, baskets, toys and a variety of nativities.

First Presbyterian has hosted the sale for the last 25 years, showcasing handcrafted items marketed by Ten Thousand Villages, a nonprofit fair trade organization based in Akron, PA.
