In keeping with the theme “Connected together. Moving forward,” the Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce brings businesses and nonprofit organizations to potential customers and employees during its Business Expo and Career Fair Presented by North Industrial Machine.

The chamber invites the public to attend the free event tomorrow evening, Thursday, March 17 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the DeLoach Center’s auxiliary gym. “The Business Expo is a valuable tool for our members, as they realize the benefits of connecting with other businesses and potential customers.

By partnering with Coker College and Florence-Darlington Technical College, we have morphed the event into an opportunity for members to connect with potential employees too,” says chamber president Quinetta Buterbaugh. This year’s event is different in other ways from past business expos the chamber has hosted. “It is important that our members get to showcase their products and services,” remarks Buterbaugh.

Dancers from the Brenda Cranford School of Dance and Move Dance Academy will entertain guests during the evening. Students from the Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics will be on hand to answer attendee questions about technology, through their student-led TechTalk program.

This year’s Leadership Hartsville class will be selling items to raise funds for their class project. With door prizes, entertainment, and lots of information shared by organizations participating in the Business Expo and Career Fair, no one will go home empty-handed. The chamber would like to thank the Hartsville News Journal for its partnership in creating this guide to the event.

The following businesses and organizations will be participating tomorrow evening. You will find more information about each in this special guide to the 2016 Business Expo and Career Fair Presented by North Industrial Machine.
