The SC Governor’s School for Science & Mathematics (GSSM), the SC Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities (SCGSAH), and the new SC Governor’s School for Agriculture at John de la Howe (JDLH) are hosting Endless Opportunities, a joint virtual information session for prospective students and their families.

As public, residential high schools, South Carolina’s Governor’s Schools serve students interested in pursuing advanced studies in agriculture, the arts, or STEM disciplines. Tuition is free (although fees for meals and boarding may apply), and any student in the state can apply to attend based on grade level.

GSSM, located in Hartsville, serves academically motivated juniors and seniors and specializes in the advanced study of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), with a unique emphasis on economics and entrepreneurship.

JDLH, located in McCormick, on 1,310 acres of forest and farmland, serves students in grades 10-12 who receive hands-on training in the fields of agribusiness, forestry, equipment operation, land management, food science, and more.

SCGSAH, located in Greenville, serves young artists in grades 10-12 through pre-professional training in the areas of creative writing, dance, drama, music, and visual arts. Students refine their talents in an arts-centered community while receiving a nationally recognized education.

Endless Opportunities is designed for students and parents who are interested in learning more about the schools’ residential high school programs. These informative, one-hour Zoom sessions will feature presentations by each school and a Q&A with school representatives.

Sessions are offered at the following dates and times: Tuesday, October 20 at 7 p.m.; Thursday, November 12 at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, December 9 at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
