Christian Recovery meeting location Christian Recovery meets at New Providence Baptist Church, 1884 Antioch Road at the corner of North Center Road. First Friday Concert Series First Presbyterian Church, 213 W. Home Ave., presents The First Friday Concert Series through April 3rd. It’s a free thirty minute concert from 12 p.m.-12:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary. This is free and open to the public.

Simply Christmas Exhibit at The Hartsville Museum Come take a step inside Santa’s workshop at the Simply Christmas Exhibit at The Hartsville Museum during Hartsville for the Holidays. This special holiday exhibit grants curious eyes a sneak peek inside of jolly St. Nick’s work space as he is preparing for the upcoming holiday season. Other displays will feature holiday traditions from past to present in addition to the workshop. The Simply Christmas Exhibit will be on display through January 10th. The exhibit and museum are both free admission.

Carolina Pines Lunch and Learn Carolina Pines Lunch and Learn will be about Popular Diets: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly by Kimberly Alton, RD, CSSD, LD will be on Thursday, January 16th from 12 p.m.-1 p.m. in the Carolina Pines Education Classroom. Come out and learn about the many popular diets around. This is a free event and open to the public.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Commemorative Service The public is always invited to attend People to People of Hartsville’s Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Service on Monday, January 20th from 12 p.m.-1:15 p.m. at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 301 S. 6th St., Hartsville. INSIDE GSSM South Carolina Governor’s School for Science & Mathematics, 401 Railroad Ave., Hartsville will be hosting INSIDE GSSM on February 29th, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. This is a free fun day for families to interact with the GSSM community and explore the campus of South Carolina’s only two-year, public residential and virtual high school for the advanced study of STEM. Good News Club Good News Club is an after-school Bible club held after school for about one hour one day a week filled with songs, games, snacks, and a Bible story at various elementary schools in the area: Carolina Elementary, North Hartsville Elementary, Thornwell School for the Arts and West Hartsville Elementary. Parents who are interested in enrolling their children in this club should contact their school for more information. Participation is voluntary and free.
