Christian Recovery meeting location Due to construction, Christian Recovery now meets at New Providence Baptist Church, 1884 Antioch Road at the corner of North Center Road. Hartsville Farmers Markets Your Hartsville Farmers Market will be open on the second Saturday of each month. The event is downtown on E. Carolina Avenue from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and features local produce, craftsmen, non-profit organizations, and fun food!

Screen on the Green Grab a blanket or a chair and meet up at Burry Park, 131 Cargill Way, for Hartsville’s free summer movie series. These events are free. Children and leashed pets are welcome. The movies start at dusk. In case of rain, Screen on the Green will be held at Coach T.B. Thomas Sports Center. July 20th’s movie will be Miracle sponsored by The Children’s group.

Drawing with Pencils Art Classes 101 “Get your drawing on” with Livingston Thomas on July 22nd beginning at 12 p.m. at Mount Olive Word of Life Community Center, 811 S. Sixth Street. Whether you’ve been doodling in your drawing or you want to learn the basics to jump start your drawing skills, this is the class for you! Personal classes are also offered. This is a free class. City Council meeting Hartsville City Council holds regular council meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in Council Chambers, found on the first floor of City Hall, 100 East Carolina Avenue. Notification of special meetings is provided at least 24 hours in advance, and agendas are posted in the alcove outside of Council Chambers.

Living Well with Diabetes Support Group The Support Group will meet the second Thursday of every month in the Education Classroom, directly before the Carolina Cafe’ cafeteria. Join this beneficial and educational forum for diabetics and their family members.
