Pure Freedom Tour coming to Darlington
DARLINGTON – New Providence Missionary Baptist Church has partnered with Danah Gresh and Cedarville University to bring to Darlington an event for teen girls, 12 and up, and their moms who want to grow closer to each other and closer to Christ. It’s also going to be a great event for women who lead youth groups to bring girls to in an effort to reduce boy-craziness and facilitate God-crazy leaders in your church.
Online dating is a $2.5 billion industry and with mediums like Seventeen magazine, largely read by middle school girls, introducing online dating to teens, it’s imperative that we talk to middle and high school girls about delaying virtual dating. As the creator of Secret Keeper Girl, Gresh is always encouraging girls not to be boy-crazy but to be God-crazy. Moms and youth leaders who agree will want to get their tickets to this twelve-city tour this fall.
The Pure Freedom Tour is based on this sentence from her latest book for teen girls: “A girl needs to get so lost in God that a guy has to seek Him to find her.” Free tickets are available for this Oct, 15 event that will take place at New Providence Missionary Baptist church at 2151 Cashua Ferry Road.
Tickets are required to attend event and free tickets are available until Oct. 12 by contacting the church at 843-393-2225 or faxing a group ticket request to 843-393-2207 or by emailing the church at npmbc@yahoo. com. After Oct. 12, tickets will have to be purchased online at www.purefreedom.org. The event begins at 6:30 p.m., doors open at 5:30 p.m. Activities will include live worship, games and a fashion show.
